What to Expect With FemiLift™

femilift-vaginal-rejuvenation-philadelphia

Age, hormones, or pregnancy can lead to uncomfortable vaginal symptoms. Although they may not discuss it, many women deal with problems like vaginal dryness, discomfort during intercourse, and bladder leakage. FemiLift™ rejuvenates the vaginal tissues to restore healthy function and sensation

What is FemiLift™ Vaginal Rejuvenation?

FemiLift™ is a non-surgical laser treatment that triggers a healing and restoration process in your vaginal tissues. As a result of this process, you can see improvements in vaginal lubrication, increased enjoyment during intercourse, and better control over bladder leaks. Unlike hormonal treatments, FemiLift™ has no medication-related risks or side effects

How Does FemiLift™ Work?

FemiLift™ uses a small handheld device that emits painless laser energy into the vaginal walls. As a fractional CO2 laser, FemiLift™ stimulates your cells to release healing and growth factors that increase cell turnover. It also increases the production of collagen, strengthening and firming the area. FemiLift™ improves the health and resilience of the vaginal tissues. It even adds enough strength to help support the bladder and reduce leaks. CO2 lasers like FemiLift™ are one of the most effective ways to stimulate collagen development for vaginal rejuvenation.

What is FemiLift™ Treatment Like?

Non-surgical FemiLift™ takes 13-30 minutes per treatment, and you can see results after one session. Most people will benefit from three to four treatments for maximum results. FemiLift™ does not require numbing, and the procedure is pain-free. The slim device causes little to no discomfort, and we will ensure you feel comfortable throughout the treatment. You will see increased benefits within a few days of each treatment, and results can continue to improve for several weeks.

Should I Have FemiLift™ or a Labiaplasty?

If you have considered vaginal rejuvenation, you may have heard of a labiaplasty. While these two procedures sound similar, they are actually quite different. A labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that removes excess length from the labia minora, the inner lips of the labia. It can improve the appearance of the outer vaginal area, but it does not affect vaginal function. The best treatment for you depends on your goals. If you hope to improve vaginal tightness, lubrication, and sensation, FemiLift™ can help. FemiLift™ will not tighten or address overly long labia. If you have both problems, you may choose to have both treatments.

Is There Any Downtime With FemiLift™?

FemiLift™ requires no downtime. You can return to your usual activities immediately after treatment. You should avoid intercourse, swimming, or tampon use for three days, but you should not feel discomfort. Some women experience light spotting or discharge that lasts a few days.
